End of project evaluation – CRRF DIRECT – Displacement responses through regional cooperation and technical exchange

Danish Refugee Council (DRC)

Bodhi conducted the endline evaluation of the Danish Refugee Council project, CRRF DIRECT, "Displacement responses through regional cooperation and technical exchange," which focused on displacement responses through regional cooperation and technical exchange in the Great Lakes region. Funded by the EU Trust Fund for Africa, the project was implemented by the Regional Durable Solutions Secretariat for the Great Lakes region (ReDSS GL) for beneficiaries including the ICGLR Secretariat, national and local authorities in five target countries (Burundi, DRC, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda), regional practitioners, and local organisations. The evaluation adopted a gender and inclusion lens to assess both the intended and unintended results achieved, as well as the lessons learned and best practices to implement in future programming. The evaluation used a multi-phased, qualitative approach, assessing the project against OECD-DAC criteria (relevance, coherence, efficiency, effectiveness, impact, and sustainability) and employing an outcome harvesting methodology, supported by 14 Key Informant Interviews.
