Bodhi Global Analysis was contracted by UNICEF Pakistan to carry out a Situation Analysis of Children with Disabilities (CwD) in the country. Bodhi is currently undertaking a human rights-based, equity-focused assessment of the realisation of the rights of CwD in Pakistan, nationally and across all provinces. The analysis focuses on providing clear insights into the immediate and underlying structural causes of stigma and discrimination, and other socio‐cultural factors that prevent CwD from realising their rights, as well as the interrelated roles of duty‐bearer institutions and the extent to which their supply of rights-related services for CwD meets demand.
