Bodhi conducted a conflict analysis of Mozambique to support IFAD's design of the Artisanal Fisheries Resilient Development Project (PROPEIXE), which aims to support artisanal fishing in the provinces of Cabo Delgado, Inhambane, Nampula, Sofala, and Zambézia. Bodhi assisted IFAD in ensuring the project adapted to contextual fragilities and conflict settings by conducting a detailed gender- and conflict-sensitive assessment of risks, challenges, and peacebuilding opportunities in the provinces targeted by PROPEIXE. The analysis took a qualitative approach, including a review of existing studies and secondary data and primary data collection through key informant interviews and focus group discussions conducted in Maputo and Pemba.
