Bodhi conducted a situational analysis of child rights in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) of the Philippines for UNICEF. We employed the Multiple Overlapping Deprivations Analysis method to examine child rights realisation across six fields: Survives and Thrives, Learns and Acquires, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene, Child Protection, Equitable Chance in Life, and Civil and Participation rights. The analysis highlighted variations in rights realisation based on factors such as age, gender, and location. We supplemented the report with risk, bottleneck, stakeholder, and trend analyses. This comprehensive study aimed to provide UNICEF with a detailed understanding of child rights issues in BARMM to inform future interventions and policy recommendations.
