Assessment of Violent Extremism and CVE capability in the Commonwealth
Commonwealth Secretariat
Bodhi conducted violent extremism (VE) risk assessments for all 54 Commonwealth member states. This comprehensive analysis included an evaluation of current VE trends and dynamics, mapping of VE actors, and root cause analysis for each country. We also performed countering violent extremism (CVE) capacity assessments for all member countries, examining their operational and technical capacities for CVE, as well as international partnerships. Based on these assessments, we developed a prioritisation matrix and produced six in-depth country reports. These reports included scenario planning and detailed, evidence-based recommendations for potential Commonwealth interventions on CVE.
