Bodhi has been contracted by Expertise France for the for the Evaluation of Nigeria's National Action Plan on Youth, Peace, and Security (NAPYPS). The significance of this evaluation extends beyond national boundaries, as Nigeria’s experience represents the first comprehensive YPS National Action Plan developed within the West African region. Nigeria’s youth population constitute approximately sixty per cent of the nation, and will have a transformative role on security and sustainable peacebuilding in the coming years. Through a participatory mixed‐methods framework which combines qualitative depth with quantitative rigour, Bodhi will evaluate the extent to which the NAPYPS's objectives and strategies remain aligned with Nigeria's current peace and security context, national priorities, and the needs and priorities of diverse young people across the country.
