Bodhi has been contracted by Expertise France to conduct a comprehensive, participatory, and evidence-based review of the implementation of Nigeria's National Action Plan on Youth, Peace, and Security (NAPYPS) as of 2024, to identify progress, challenges, and lessons learned, and to provide actionable recommendations for developing the second YPS NAP and strengthen SAPs implementation. This evaluation focuses on the achievements, challenges, and adjustments needed to ensure the success of the second YPS NAP, actively including the voices of the youths including young women, girls, and youths with disabilities to ensure an inclusive evaluation. The team adopted a mixed-methods, participatory, and rights-based approach, combining quantitative data with qualitative insights, actively involving a diverse range of stakeholders, and ensuring the assessment upholds human rights principles, including those specific to youth and gender.
