The primary objective of this assignment was to enhance the capacity of CSOs in Ghana to provide effective support services for individuals affected by discrimination and SGBV. This aligns with Ghana’s national development goals and international commitments to gender equality and human rights. This consultancy brought together key international and national practice‐based knowledge in the area of SGBV and inclusion in order to strengthen Ghanaian civil society by assessing gaps that prevent survivors from accessing reliable services. The purpose of this training was to train participants on the concept of gender transformative and survivor-based approaches within SGBV programming and their role within the SGBV referral pathway system. Training included various topics such as sex and gender, SGBV definitions and prevalence, unconscious bias, Prevention of Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (PSEA) and sexual harassment, SGBV referral pathway, prevention strategies and traits required for effective survivor-centered approaches.
