Summative Evaluation of LPI's Somalia programmes
Life and Peace Institute
We undertook a summative evaluation of the Life & Peace Institute (LPI) Somalia Programme 2020-2023. This was a multi-level conflict transformation in South-Central Somalia, aiming to contribute to a stable and peaceful Somalia by supporting inclusive reconciliation processes that address local grievances and root causes of conflict. Bodhi assessed the programme performance against the OECD-DAC criteria and used outcome harvesting to understand the extent to which LPI activities in implementation areas resulted in change, and how this was achieved. Qualitative datas was collected across nine locations, and we provided actionable, evidence-based recommendations for the design of the next phase.
