Bodhi is conducting an independent evaluation of gender equality mainstreaming across British Council programmes in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The assessment examines the impact of integrating gender perspectives into grant-funded, partnership, and client-funded programmes across multiple sectors and countries. The evaluation will assess programme design, implementation approaches, and outcomes related to gender equality and inclusion, with particular attention to how programmes navigate cultural contexts while promoting transformative change. Deliverables include a final evaluation report with recommendations, a toolkit with indicators for future programme design, case studies across all programme areas in Arabic and English, and a PowerPoint summary for internal and external stakeholders.
