Evidence review on transformative approaches in implementing programmes/initiatives across the gender-conflict-climate nexus.

Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD)

Bodhi conducted a study to map and collect good practices and lessons learned from climate-gender-conflict nexus programmes and interventions for Wesminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD). The study focused on WFD’s primary stakeholders, including parliaments, political parties, and CSOs, as well as secondary stakeholders such as local governments, grassroots activists, and local women leaders and peacebuilders. It provided examples from both ODA and non-ODA recipient countries, highlighting the implementation of programmes and initiatives across the gender-conflict-climate nexus. A bespoke analytical framework structured around four 'WFD pillars' (policy-making and legislation, political voice and participation, policy implementation, and research, analysis, and open data) guided the review and its analysis.
