Participatory Action Research on social, political and economic inclusion of youths with disabilities: A case of Nairobi County

Sense International

The project involved a desk review, legislation and policy analysis, and training 40 enumerators to carry out semi-structured interview surveys, mobility mapping, problem ranking and thematic FGDs in three constituencies in Nairobi. Data was disaggregated by gender, socio-economic background and type of disability. On the basis of the research findings we developed programming options designed to increase the social, economic and political inclusion of youths with disabilities.
