Bodhi undertook a study to assess the effectiveness and impact of Tearfund’s peacebuilding and sexual and gender‐based violence (SGBV) approaches in Burkina Faso, Burundi, Chad, Mali, DRC, and Zimbabwe. It examined the integration of Community Conflict Transformation Dialogues, Transforming Masculinities, and Journey to Healing methodologies into these approaches. It also provided insights into the advantages and disadvantages of different ways of integrating the three approaches and assessed the impact of connecting changemakers with each other across locations, thematic areas and levels of influence. The assessment relied on outcome harvesting to understand the intended and unintended, positive and negative outcomes of Tearfund’s SGBV and peacebuilding programming. Bodhi adopted a feminist participatory approach to evaluation, mainstreaming gender‐based issues and feminist research principles. The evidence generated was shared with Tearfund’s donors, peer organisations and networks.
