Conflict sensitivity assessment of the project "Building Resilience in the Landscapes of Kigoma region, Tanzania"

UNON

Bodhi conducted a conflict sensitivity assessment to evaluate the conflict sensitivity risks associated with the “Building Climate Resilience in the Landscapes of Kigoma Region, Tanzania” project and developed measures to effectively mitigate them. The assessment aimed to identify entry points and opportunities for the project to be more peace responsive, contributing to conflict prevention and resolution outcomes, including through more inclusive and participatory approaches for ensuring stakeholder engagement during project design and implementation. Bodhi took a participatory and GESI-centred approach, conducting a comprehensive desk review, stakeholder mapping and analysis, and qualitative data collection to inform reporting.
