Bodhi conducted a baseline study and gender context analysis for Right to Play's Save Her Seat Project in Tanzania. This three-year project (April 2023 – April 2026) aims to promote gender equality and improve learning outcomes for girls in grades 5-7 by providing quality education in the Mara region. The objective of this baseline study and gender context analysis was to provide contextual information on the current conditions of education for girls in the Mara region using a participatory and collaborative approach. Bodhi conducted this assignment in line with feminist research principles, aiming to shift the power from the evaluation team and Right to Play to local researchers and research participants through data collection training and gender-sensitive and conflict-sensitive approaches.
