Edward Sloan is a results-driven research and policy specialist with more than 10 years of field experience working in INGOs, academia and the private sector. He has expertise in humanitarian, peacebuilding, and sustainable development initiatives, focusing on conflict, human rights, migration, public health, and poverty alleviation across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. A native English and French speaker, he specialises in conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis, designing humanitarian interventions and measuring their impact, and advocating for evidence-based policies. Prior to joining Bodhi, Edward worked at Geneva Call in Ukraine, conducting research on patterns of behaviour regarding compliance with international humanitarian law on the battlefield. Before then, he conducted in-depth research on patterns of violence in Yemen and Libya while at Search for Common Ground.
